Dance Programs and Classes

Pre-School - Ages 2.5 - 4 years Treasured 2s, Terrific 3s, Fantastic 4s

This enjoyable class provides the pre-schooler with an opportunity to explore movement while cultivating his/her natural abilities. The class helps develop motor skills, rhythm, vocabulary, spatial awareness, and self-expression. Learn more

Kinderdance - Ages 5 & 6 years Fabulous 5s

Same as above, but incorporating more structure in ballet and tap. Learn more

Pre-Ballet and Jazz - Ages 6 - 8 years, Grade 1 - 3

A combination class that contains the essence of classical ballet without the rigid physical and mental self-discipline. This class develops the dancer's coordination and skill level, easing the transition to the structure and discipline of technique, posture, and alignment.

Classical Ballet

Formal training in classical technique makes punctual, regular attendance a must.  Emphasis is placed upon correct technique and body placement for the development of technical strength, clarity, and grace.


Requires studio faculty approval.  Must take a minimum of 2 ballet classes and pass a skill test.


Provides a strong, well-integrated sense of rhythm, excellent coordination, and a sense of freedom in movement. Strong emphasis is placed upon technique.


A style of theatrical dance that rejects the limitations of classical ballet and favors movement deriving from the expression of inner feeling.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop is a combination of funk, jazz, street, and breakdancing.


Creates an awareness of rhythm and counter rhythm plus coordinated movement. With the added technique it has borrowed from ballet and jazz, tap has developed into a highly versatile and fascinating dance form.

Pilates Mat & Ball

The Pilates Method is an exercise system focused on improving flexibility and strength for the total body.

Pilates Barre

The barre technique is a fun way of getting a complete body workout. The barre technique combines classical pilates, dance, and yoga. Like no other workout, it sculpts and chisels muscles as well as improves balance and strength while working our arms, legs, thighs abs, pelvic floor, back, and the core muscle groups.

Irish Step

Irish Step is a group of traditional dance forms originating in Ireland.  This class teaches reels, jigs, and slip jog soft shoe steps.

Class Placement

Class placement for all students, returning and new, will be evaluated by the faculty during the first few weeks of classes. A student may be asked to try a few classes to find the appropriate level.

New students with previous training will be watched closely during this time to insure proper placement. Changes in placement may be necessary. Decisions are made on individual ability, experience and age.
