Pre-School – Ages 2.5 – 4 years Terrific 3s, Fantastic 4s

This enjoyable class provides the pre-schooler with an opportunity to explore movement while cultivating his/her natural abilities. The class helps develop motor skills, rhythm, vocabulary, spatial awareness, and self-expression. Learn more

Fabulous 5s, Super 6s – Ages 5 & 6 years

Same as above, but incorporating more structure in ballet and tap.

Primary 2 and 3 Ballet Ages 7, 8 Grades 2,3

This class continues to build on the classical ballet skills taught in the Fabulous 5s & Super 6s. The class develops the dancer’s coordination and skill level, easing the transition to the structure and discipline of technique, posture, and alignment.

Formal training in classical technique makes punctual, regular attendance a must. Emphasis is placed upon correct technique and body placement for the development of technical strength, clarity, and grace.

Upper Level Instruction, Grades 4 and Beyond

Classical Ballet

Pointe

Requires studio faculty approval. Must take a minimum of 2 ballet classes and pass a skill test.

Jazz

Provides a strong, well-integrated sense of rhythm, excellent coordination, and a sense of freedom in movement. Strong emphasis is placed upon technique.

Contemporary / Modern

A style of theatrical dance that rejects the limitations of classical ballet and favors movement deriving from the expression of inner feeling.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop is a combination of funk, jazz, street, and breakdancing.

Tap

Creates an awareness of rhythm and counter rhythm plus coordinated movement. With the added technique it has borrowed from ballet and jazz, tap has developed into a highly versatile and fascinating dance form.

Musical Theater

This class includes the multifaceted practice of theatrical jazz providing both the technique and artistry behind theater dance.

Acrobatics

Basic level tumbling skills. encouraging flexibility and agility to strengthen the core, arms, back, and legs.

Tuesday August 12, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
and Saturday, August 16, 10:00 am – Noon.

Classes Resume Monday, September 8, 2025

• Come to the Studio at the above-mentioned dates and times
• Call the studio at 508-867-8925
• Returning students may register using the Parent Portal at bettygundersendance.com

Holiday & School Break Schedule

Thanksgiving:  Studio closed Wednesday, November 26th through Sunday, November 30th. Classes resume Monday, December 1st.

Christmas: Studio closed Monday, December 22nd through Sunday, January 4th. Classes resume on Monday, January 5th.

Winter Break: Studio closed Sunday, February 15th through Sunday, February 22nd. Classes resume Monday, February 23rd.

Memorial Day: Studio will be closed Monday, May 25th.

Unless noted above, classes will be held on Monday holidays

Parental Portal

The Parent Portal will allow you to register online, check balances, view and update your contact information, and view your student’s class schedule.

PARENTAL PORTAL INSTRUCTIONS

To get started:

  1. CLICK HERE TO OPEN THE PARENT PORTAL
  2. Below the sign in button – click where it states “Forgot your password or need to get started?”
  3. Follow the steps to register and receive a temporary password. Make sure you are using the email address you have on file with the studio.
  4. Login to the Parental Portal with your email and temporary password.
  5. Change your temporary immediately- the program will lock you out if you don’t update within 2 hours. Do this by locating the “I Want To:” dropbox box at the top of the screen and selecting change my password.
